Who we’re hiring:
We’re looking for a Front-End Developer to collaborate with our existing team, integrate into our current development process, and make it your own. By joining our team, you’ll be on the ground floor in a fast-growing, profitable, bootstrapped startup based in Minneapolis, but built for fully-remote work. Help define our road map, refine our current and future products, and collaborate with the rest of our engineering team. You will be involved in the full product cycle: working with the product team to define requirements, with the development team to design and implement our applications, and with the operations team to deploy and maintain them.
In addition to the technical chops, you’ve got the itch to help build a team, influence the future of work, and believe that your data shouldn’t just be used to sell ads. You have an insane number of bookmarked pages on Stackoverflow. You don’t need to know exactly what you’re going to do every day and you’re also willing to roll your sleeves up and do what is needed.
Some basic qualifiers:
- Focused commercial experience with functional React
- Some commercial experience with Apollo / GraphQL
- A strong grasp of responsive design patterns, and cross browser/device support
- Experience with front-end test driven development, jest or similar
- Experience with Typescript a plus
- Experience in implementing rich interfaces with animations and efficient RAM usage
- Ability to release notes/documentation for new or existing features in order to help our customers understand how to use them
- Product ownership experience a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Preference to candidates based in the Saint Paul-Minneapolis metro area, but remote candidates are still encouraged to apply
