Software and services company Collaboration.Ai has been awarded a $1.3MM contract with the U.S. Department of the Air Force’s Digital Transformation Office (DTO). Extending an original award in 2021, this one-year agreement focuses on cultivating a digitally-empowered community to accelerate change across the Air Force and Space Force.

“We’re proud to have teamed up with the DTO over the past year to establish its strategic priorities and build a solid foundation for driving positive impact,” said Brennan Townley, Collaboration.Ai CEO. “In the next phase of our work together, we’ll double down on expanding the community of digital champions and deepening engagement around the modernization of DAF culture, tools, training, architecture, and standards.”

Collaboration.Ai will provide the DTO collaboration software, ecosystem development, event facilitation, campaign management, and outreach support. The company will continue to evolve DTO programs it helped launch in recent months, including the Digital Tools for All initiative, an effort aimed at establishing a new model for enterprise-wide software licensing, and the Digital Agents of Change campaign, a recognition and learning opportunity for Airmen and Guardians who are dedicated to advancing the DAF’s digital transformation.

Previously, Collaboration.Ai has been awarded multiple Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III IDIQ contracts from the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Special Operations Command. Since 2019, the company has supported the AFWERX Challenge program, which taps top subject matter experts in the U.S. and allied countries to accelerate Air Force and Space Force innovation.
